Undone

Undone is this week's theme over at Illustration Friday. Yes, I am a little late...I definitely feel a day late and a dollar short pretty much continually these days as we careen towards Christmas...or as I think of it, Stressmas! ;-) Cake definitely helps if you can get some.

Last Slice, oil on canvas, Nancy Bea Miller

Beautiful painting. I can think of 2 interpretations: Either someone was undone by eating almost the whole cake, or the cake is not yet completely gone.

I love your cakes and donuts! They're something I never eat but find myself craving more of yours.

The brown paper I painted the woman on is a grocery bag with folds, unfortunately. I've done a whole series of them and I refer to them as "bag ladies."

I adore the little girl in the doorway. Are you sure it isn't finished? It's stunning.

Love the way you give an aura to everything you paint.
Don't leave the cake alone, just eat it!!
